The Child Lied

The Child Lied,
apologized, but lied.
The mother of the child breaks,
and the mother's child who lied lay awake,
and shakes,
With fear of being punished,
The Child Lied.
She tastes the disappointment through her tears,
while sit and wonders with fears.

not once, but twice,
the mother's the trap,
while the child is the mice.
The child is trapped up in her guilt,
so sorry and hurting..
she made a mistake..but she's learning.
